base for Birdwatchers.

river or walk up the nearest hill and see many more. Near the
lodge are mixed deciduous, evergreen and pine forests and areas of
limestone karst....lots of ecosystems, lots of species.
Marvel
at the more than 300,000 Fork-Tailed and Pacific Swifts swirling into
the massive exit chamber of Tham Lod cave every evening - a world famous
phenomenon - , or search for the elusive Pale-Headed Woodpeckers. In the
wet season witness the incredible bird-eating fish in the Lang River.
